While North Redondo lays entirely inland, don't count this neighborhood out on capitalizing on the beach charm of the South Bay. North Redondo is home to tall & skinny houses with a classic beach suburban feel. There are two main sections of North Redondo Beach: the Golden hills is the hilly area that hides behind Hermosa Beach while the rest is North Redondo Beach which offers some of the most affordable home prices in all of the beach cities.
East of Hermosa Beach and just South of Manhattan Beach rests the hilly section dubbed Golden Hills. You'll notice all of the homes here have a similar style of the South Bay's notorious tall and skinny homes. The typical lot size is 25x100 with garages in the front and a smaller backyard at the rear. One of the big bonuses of this area is how family friendly and close these neighborhoods are. We recommend this area for new families as the feel is charming and beachy, but the prices are reasonable and the neighbors are easy to welcome newbies with open arms.
The people here have a strong sense of pride in their community as many of them have either grown up here or started their families here. North Redondo is a quiet heaven for residents who like being a short drive away from the beach, but love the protective bubble the South Bay offers from the rest of LA.
You'll find tons of kids playing in the streets, dogs taking humans on walks and the mailmen, who is a women walking the streets delivering the daily mail by hand.
You'll notice here that many of the homes in North Redondo all share the same lot size, but some also get more creative with the spaces. With our market being on the consistent upswing, these homes make for great starter homes as well as an income property for just under $1 million.
As far as prices go, that landscape is always changing, but you can find great deals here all the way up to $1.5 million dollar modern homes.
