The Arthur J | A Steakhouse from Yesteryear Opens in MB
The Arthur J opens it’s doors today at 903 Manhattan Ave. in Manhattan Beach. The new restaurant is named after owners, Chris and Mike Simm’s, grandfather Arthur. I know you're thinking... "Great, just what downtown MB needs...another fancy restaurant". But this one stands out amongst the rest with its blend of retro/modern style that is pretty much non-existent in the area.
David LeFevre is the horsepower behind this new steakhouse. With an already successful M.B. Post and the restaurant Fishing With Dynamite, we are positive this new eatery will not disappoint! Especially when its menu consists of aged steaks cooked on a wood fire grill and delicious sounding Mad Men-era cocktails.
Judging from the handful of reviews already posted on Yelp, it seems as though this place will be a hit, being as there aren’t many true steakhouses in the South Bay. Yelpers who have already dined at The Arthur J are saying the steaks are so tender that you don't need a knife and the Old Fashioned’s are a must try! We imagine this place will be pretty busy over the next couple months as South Bay residents will spread the word like wildfire and mouths will salivate to try this new hot spot. Open daily from 5 to 10:30 p.m., and until 11 p.m. on weekends and reservations are available by calling the restaurant or via Opentable.
