October Activities in the South Bay

As the weather starts to get colder and the leaves start to change October is here and there is so much to do around the South Bay to get in the seasonal spirit. We put together a list of our favorite activities so you can stay up on the latest in our community.

SKETCHERS PIER TO PIER FRIENDSHIP WALK

First off we have the annual Sketchers Pier to Pier Friendship walk starting at 8 am on the Manhattan Beach Pier. Participants will walk from the Manhattan Beach Pier to the Hermosa Beach Pier and back to support local education and children with special needs. Online registration is $25 per person. On-site registration is $30. Everyone receives a free t-shirt with registration. The event will also include a Kids Zone featuring bounce houses, children’s games and various booths. The whole family can participate in this annual walk along the shore!

OKTOBERFEST 2016 - TORRANCE

This event delivers an authentic-yet-modern Oktoberfest each and every year…and all within 10 miles of Southern California’s beautiful beaches. The Oktoberfest is open on Fridays: 6:00 PM to midnight, Saturdays: 5:00 PM to midnight, and Sundays:  1:00 PM to 6:00 PM
