4th Of July: Where To See The Fireworks

The 4th of July is upon us and there is no better way to show off your freedom than being at the beach, wearing red, white and blue, and watching colorful explosions gloriously burst in the night sky. Here in Los Angeles we are spoiled with tons of great firework shows…so we put together a list of all of the places you can see the rockets red glare in the South Bay this Saturday night!

1. El Segundo

El Segundo’s annual 4th of July celebration starts at 10 a.m. in Recreation Park where there will be fun for the whole family including food, games, and live music to dance to. There will also be a pie eating contest as well as a watermelon eating contest and don’t miss the incredible firework show starting at 9 p.m.!

2. Marina Del Rey

A 20 minute firework spectacular will take place in Marina Del Rey and the fireworks will be choreographed to music that will be playing on the radio station KXLU-FM 88.9. The fireworks will be shot over the Main Channel in Marina so it will be easy to find a good spot to see the show!

3. Redondo Beach

One of the largest 4th of July celebrations in Southern California is hosted at Redondo Beach Pier. The festivities start at 2 p.m. and will include live music, arts and crafts, dancing and a ton of food! Don’t miss out on this one! Fireworks start at 9 p.m. on the pier.

4. Torrance Beach

A privately funded firework show will happen off the coast of Torrance Beach as well. A barge will shoot pyrotechnics off into the night sky starting at 9 p.m. and you will be able to see this show from any of the surrounding beaches!
