Plantation style homes seem to be popping up on every street in Manhattan Beach and as realtors we thought we had seen them all. But when we saw 1901 Lynngrove Dr. it immediately jumped off the curb as a stand out home in the hot neighborhood of Liberty Village.
Sitting on a corner lot, this beautiful contemporary 5 bedroom, 3.5 bath home was hard to miss when we drove by. A short walk up the grey stone entry path and you walk through the all glass front door, which we immediately thought “what if you don’t want to answer the door?” but for the sake of design, it’s a pretty cool door. Entering the home you are hit with the high ceilings and open floor plan of this beauty. With wide plank French Oak floors and a mix of whites, grays, blacks, and dark wood this home screams contemporary elegance.

As we moved from the entry way deeper into the home we saw the insanely gorgeous, wide open kitchen that flows through to the family room and even out to the back yard. The kitchen was our favorite part. We loved how the designer chose not to put cabinets above or around the sink, it is something not seen here much and it really opened up the space. The connected family room was beautifully minimal with a grey stone fireplace and huge glass doors that opens to the backyard retreat. There was a massive amount of recessed lighting, which helped brighten up the long room quite nicely. Moving up the stairs, the master suite was breathtaking with it’s private balcony and fireplace, matching the downstairs minimal stone theme. Master bath didn’t disappoint either, with it’s large tub and massive walk-in closet. The additional rooms throughout the home were spacious and featured nice big windows for tons of natural light. The backyard used its minimal space wisely and was maximized for entertaining and relaxation with a built in BBQ, fire pit, fridge and cute landscaping.

One of the reason that we loved this house is the quality of craftsmanship that was apparent throughout. Many of these style of homes we have seen in our area, tend to look like the job was quickly done, but this home felt like the builders took their time to do the job right. This sexy new construction will make a great home for a family looking in this super hot area of Manhattan Beach and this one is priced lower than the others and will get snatched up quickly.
