From the curb, this tranquil 2,968 sqf. Manhattan Beach home, seemed ordinary and nothing really to write home about. The exterior looks like it has been dipped in pebble shaped stones that definitely date the house. But once again, we learned to never judge a book by it's cover and what is on the inside is what really counts.
Once we stepped inside, we realized how spacious and just how upgraded the home actually was. The downstairs has been freshly remodeled with beautiful bamboo and travertine floors, a brand new kitchen with granite countertops and top-of-the-line KitchenAid appliances. The family and living rooms were bright and light, with tall ceilings opening up the space and 2 brand new custom fireplaces. Our favorite part of this home was the oversized deck in the backyard. This space is prime for entertaining with tons of seating and a whole bbq area. The whole deck overlooks the backyard that feels like a small private park, with big trees at the center that are just begging for a hammock to be hung between them.
Moving upstairs, we started to see a little bit of a difference from the newly remodeled downstairs. One of the guest bathrooms still had linoleum floors, and the carpet felt a bit out of place going up the stairs. We can’t complain too much because the master bedroom was massive and had its own fireplace, private balcony and relaxing spa tub. Again, we loved the high ceilings of this room because it really gives some breathing room to this home.
Overall this Manhattan Beach home had tons of charm and felt perfectly secluded. We recommend it for a growing family, who loves to entertain but also likes to relax after a long day.
