Fiesta Hermosa Is Here
Still not quite sure what to do this holiday weekend? Well we've got an idea for you! Cruise on down to Pier Ave. and enjoy a Southern California tradition (since 1972) in Hermosa Beach. Fiesta Hermosa is one part art fair, one part food festival, two parts concert, and a whole lot of fun! With the beach as the backdrop and a cold drink in your hand, what better way is there to celebrate the holiday?
fiesta hermosa has been called the "largest arts & crafts fair in Southern California". the fiesta features OVER 300 artists ranging from painters to jewelers.
Music is a huge part of the celebration and with tons of "tribute bands" playing throughout the day, it will be hard not to find yourself dancing. The Main Stage features tributes to classic rock bands.
One of the highlights of the festival is the Charity Beer & Wine Garden. What better way is there to give back than by grabbing a cold one or a glass of vino and rockin' out to some nostalgic tunes? All the proceeds go to participating organizations for their good works in the community. Our personal favorite of the festival is the Food Court, which offers 18 different kinds of ethnic food choices. We recommend getting the roasted corn, but not if you're on a date...that stuff is delicious but it gets stuck in your teeth! To finish off the fun times there is a ferris wheel, a 30 foot slide, carnival rides, a bungee jump and a petting zoo! You don't want to miss out on the fiesta, even if you just drop by for some cotton candy. If we can't convince you to join the beach party, just check out the video below!
