3. Riviera Village Trick-or-Treat Stroll

Ghosts and goblins will mix with princesses and super heroes as Riviera Village hosts the annual Halloween Trick or Treat on Tuesday, October 31, 2017. Catalina Avenue will be closed to traffic from Avenue I to Palos Verdes Blvd. Shops will hand out candy and treats from 4 to 6 pm.

This event has become a Redondo Beach tradition, attracting thousands of children each year to enjoy Halloween in a safe and fun atmosphere. Make an evening of it, and stop for dinner in one of the new restaurants in the Village.  The Village restaurants are packed after all the Trick or Treating, so make your reservations early.  It’s a great way to celebrate Halloween and enjoy all that Riviera Village has to offer!

5. Haunted Hayride

Far from those kid-friendly rides through a pumpkin patch, this hayride unleashes all sorts of demons, and bogeys on Griffith Park. It's an actual hayride—a long one—paired with a "scary-go-round" for wee ones (and 'fraidy cats), a number of scare zones and a pitch black maze filled with "demons and maniacs," and probably lots of frisky teenagers. This year's theme, "Clown," brings back the clown tent finale and is sure to trigger some serious coulrophobia.
