3 BED · 3.5 BATH · 3,350 SQUARE FEET

2908 Manhattan Avenue is a modern beach pad that has everything you could want in a home in Manhattan Beach. The architect who designed this masterpiece is Daryl Olesinski at O + L Building, and boy did he get it right. From the location, to the architecture, to the views, we fell in love with this minimalistic take on a beach home.

Entering through the front gate you are greeted by a serene spa and are automatically given a hint as to how cool this house is going to be. An image of the future home owner sitting in the spa and waiving as neighbors walk by crosses our minds and instantly set the tone for the home. Once we moved passed that, we made our way up a flight of stairs to enter the home. As you enter, the first thing you notice is the jaw-dropping floating staircase, as well as the raw and modern elements of the home. The mixture of wood and unfinished concrete gave off a hip/modern vibe from the moment we walked in. On this entrance floor is the master suite which has unstoppable ocean views and an unmistakably bold set up with no walls in-between the room and the bathroom, keeping with the modern and open theme of the home. One thing we noticed, which was either really cool or slightly off, was that the steam shower featured all glass windows and one of the windows had a straight view out into the bedroom. I guess you could just conclude that confidence is key in this master bedroom. The other rooms on this level were spacious and used naturally lighting very strategically, which we loved.

Moving up the magical floating stairs we came to the top floor, which felt like a loft, that featured the kitchen, the living and dining rooms. With views straight out to the ocean, the room continued outside by way of open bi-folding doors that flowed to the outdoor patio with a fire pit and BBQ. It was easy to see that this would be the main entertaining space of the home. While this isn't a massive house, the minimal and open floor plan made it feel twice the size. It took us a while to look around and take in just how much of a masterpiece this home is. Also on the bottom level of this 3 bed, 3.5 bath contemporary crib is the garage, which has an added workout area as well as a cozy entertainment room. Perfect for Netflix & chilling.

Overall, this home was incredible. From the overall curb appeal, to the minimal layout, you can tell the designers thought about every aspect in the design. We recommend this home for buyers who are looking for a downtown feel and want to wake up to ocean views.
